| Leeds continuing their fortunately consistent vein of form with the forward passes, clearly not lost on the cas faithful!!
Interesting to see the attendance when announced and how it compares with our 9,020.

| Silverwood was correct to rule out both Owen's touchdowns and to be honest i thought the pass to Ablett and then JJB were both well timed. It's a test of Cas mentally today, can they keep their composure? Looks quite alot of Leeds fans there too! Good on them, it's a brilliant day for it

| Watching the replay, it's hard to argue with Mr Silverwood. Lack of consistency is the problem though; those passes were no more forward than many others that have been let go this season - that will be Cas' excuse if they go on to lose this game, as it looks like they will.

| Leeds must have got away with more forward passes in the history of our game X2 , so i'm not suprised the Cas fans are unhappy.
Aspinwall is playing well.

| Leeds should be back to form now they have their 'one man band' back. On another note, did anyone hear that huge popping noise about 2 minutes ago? I think it was the sound of Cas' bubble bursting.

Indeed - as I posted on their forum a couple of days ago, after a flying start to the season, aided and abetted by a run of relatively easy games, the wheels have well and truly fallen off.

| Everything goes through Chase, he's one of the best players around but he can't do it all on his own.

That's a little harsh to be honest. They had numerous homes games and played weaker sides early on in the comp. It's no real surprise they've lost to the likes of St Helens, Leeds and of course Wakefield! They've beaten sides they should have (including Hudds who were woeful), and lost to those who to be honest are much better than them.
The real test for Castleford is how they respond to these defeats and Huby's injury.

| Maybe Leeds slowed them down and the ref unfairly penalised Cas, still 2 cup finals and two losses.
