| Why is everyone so worried. Hull kr have to win 3 out of 6 just to catch us. Salford need 3 wins from 7, unless they get some points back. And even if these two teams do catch us, they'll catch widnes aswell. One more win will be enough for 8th I reckon.

| To a point Wildshot, I agree with you.
However, at the end of the day, the good doctor has come in with his blank cheque book, and because he is bigger that everyone else, thinks he can get away with it. With this in mind, although the points deduction I believe relates to 2015, who's to say he hasn't exceeded the cap again in 2016, and if it weren't for some of the bigger name players, they may not of won the amount of games they have so far in 2016. Without being disrespectful, prior to him coming, Salford were pretty much bottom 4 every year.
At the end of the day, we are where we are on merit, and we still aren't spending the full cap. Also, worth reminding people, wasn't our salary cap operated at something like 1.2 million in 2014, and not much higher in 2015. We are still in Super League, and now stand a good chance of finishing in the top 8.
All things considered, points deduction or not, who deserves the play off spot?
