I think Jed had a foot injury from which he recovered, last season.Hamstring strains are rife in speed and endurance sports. Field at Wigan has had a few on various surfaces and no one wants to axe him. There will be countless others. I think it’s dramatic to consider his fc career in the balance because he’s had 2 injuries within a couple of months. We have acquired a couple of second rowers to cover such injuries next season. Our sport is just fast, physical and brutal. Players get injured but rarely do they end careers in the 20s. May you make a quick recovery Jed as you’ll be missed

A good dilemma to have is with the squad doing better than expected do we stick or twist when it comes to signings? 


For example Knight has looked good despite a late start to the season but takes up a quota spot so it's a balance, also telling him quota places are full you'll have to go would naturally demotivate him for the rest of the season.


Also wondering if Briscoe has another year in him as backup Centre/Wing, whereas before I'd have thought it was well deserved lap of honour round the stands time at the end of the year.
