Probably looks the unlikeliest GF pairing as it stands with us both being away from home. Especially given Saints playoff record, they may struggle when they get to Old Trafford but are unbeaten in their last 10 Non-GF Playoff games, dating back to 2005. I'd rather we were heading to the DW than Langtree Park.

Not necessarily, how long did Saints' unbeaten run against Warrington stretch to in the league? Not sure but i think it was a lot more than 10 games.
Also thank god Briers has shaved it off, that looked bloody ridiculous! |

Didn't say from when the SL first started, just how long they enjoyed an undefeated run against Wire in the league (just like the 10 undefeated playoffs games doesn't stretch back to the 1st year of SL).
From 20th of April 2001 when Wire won 56-22 at Home
until 25th of February 2011 when Wire won 25-18 Away

That's correct you didn't.

2nd and =#FF00006th actually but whose counting. The eventual win at Knowsley Road (sorry Naughton Park or whatever name it went by in 2011 - edit: Stobart Stadium) to end the sequence came with Warrington official Phil Bentham controlling the game. Starting with that fixture Warrington have been successful in three of the four Regular Round matches V St Helens including their only previous visit to Langtree Park so it should be a great contest and one that for me could go either way. |

Yeah and then we had an even worse run after that....it was 10 full years till we beat them again |
