This will be hard for some, but putting aside club loyalties,etc., etc., and starting with a clean slate, if you had the chance to put a Rugby League competiton togther in GB where would you want the teams (say 16)?

Mostly for ease of access, population of "area", diversity of location and potential income.

It would be interesting to see what others think or not.

I'd have a small hub of clubs centred in and around the M4 motorway corridor and then I'd attempt to entice thick Northerners to watch the game despite their passion for anything but Rugby League.

I'd put teams where they have a chance of getting 10k+ to games, ie the places that have played RL for 100 years and care about the game.

Three hell holes in the north of England would not constitute much a league.

My opinion is keep it how it is. That is too much like football and we are different and want to be different. It's great to see teams like Cas, wakey, saints widnes etc... Instead of Liverpool, London, Manchester etc....

Plus, you don't want to be competing against football for supporters, because for some reason the wendyball attracts a far bigger fanbase.
