So,any of you lot going ?
He never produced the goods at Leeds because he didnt want to be here anyway.
Still one of my favourite players though and a great ball-handling prop forward.
I'll buy the book in Leeds somewhere hopefully

At 18 Lee Crooks was the best British forward of his age I've every seen - and he played for Hull FC. Strong, skillful, fearless, a good kicker and a natural leader he had everything.
That he went on to have a good career at Hull Leeds and Cas but not an all time legend in the game was a great waste of talent but nonetheless he would walk into most fans 'all time FC' teams.

i know he had spells in the aus game during our summer but in hindsight perhaps he shouls have followed sterlo to the eels after the 1985 challenge cup final and stayed out there - they would have made him one of the all time great forwards |

According to Wilf's diary Lee is doing a launch at Humber St Andrews Club this Monday night - that's the one near Griffin on Anlaby Road I think. The original link also says that Knocker is going to be there!!! Should be worth a visit - I assume you can get copies of the book there as well
